SMUD SUBSTATION A		SOCA Honors Best Architecture Marybeth Bizjak, writer 2003 Inside the City The article is a display of buildings in which project teams maintained or engaged in "adaptive reuse" of old buildings. Cynthia Easton's SMUD's Substation A project is one of the buildings honored. This exemplifies her leadership in historic Architecture in the Sacramento community.

That would be wrong." Recognition of not only the welcomed townhouses of Sky Parkway, but also the architect, Cynthia Easton, who designed them with dignity. The project was designed to promote neighbor interaction and give the place the feel of ownership.
