p r o j e c t s - i n d u s t r i a l : _Van Maren Pump Station Project: Upper Northwest Interceptor Station 8 Location: Intersection of Van Maren Blvd. and Auburn Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA Client: Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District - HDR Engineering Cost: $7.95 Million Description: This project involves a new 2, 775 SF Mechanical Control Building for a new pump lift station for an increase in capacity of the existing storm and sewer for the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District. The concrete masonry unit building has portions of the roof in clay tile designed to blend with the adjacent County Library and Catholic Diocese Retreat Center. A concrete masonry unit fence with pre-cast concrete elements provides security. The variations in height of the fence transition the large scale of the building to the scale of the pedestrians on the street.
